Rant no3 Chat Spam

Not controversial in the slightest, after all who does like it?

But I hate that in some places that my skin fills up with various gestures, ACII ‘art’ and people clicking incessantly on their Xcite! bits and pieces.  Was this ever considered cool? Was this ever considered a really good idea?

GAH!!!! When I tp into a place and I’m bombared with ‘HOWLLLLSSSSS’ or the worst most evil offender of all time ‘GIGGLES’ I WANT to go on a bitch slapping spree, but instead I tp out. I have to confess, I do have 2 freebie gestures, one of which is a bitch slap (no chat, or sounds, just the movement) and one called ‘attention whore’ which I have given to friends as a joke, and have played it twice for comedic effect obviously.

Now, to Xcite, I appreciate that it’s clever, and effective to lots of people in sl but when I see ‘XXXXX is slightly aroused’ over and over again I just want to shout, you will go BLIND if you don’t stop.  This is especially annoying when used by ‘dancers’ in clubs who think that by pressing lots of buttons, they are going to recieve lots of tips *groans*

Perhaps the most disturbing chat spam is the sl pregnancies, where the bump informs you of the babies movements and the ‘mommies’ back pain.  I.just.dont.get.it  it’s creepy, its wierd and also pretty pointless.

I’ve had an idea, to try and dress ‘British’ for the day, and by that I mean wear something with the Union Flag on it, and a bit of tartan. ;P

So what I am wearing is hair from HCT, top by Muism (lovin’ it) and a tartan mini skirt, which I really really like, although it does have a resizing script in it, which drives me insane (I like to resize things the old fashioned way) and I bought the Urgh boots from Jeepers Creepers which look like the Aussie Uggs. The Jewellry is from Yak and Yeti, indian and tibetan designs.

As the majority of SL females look a little like Barbie, I thought I should join the trend for a day anyway…… I’m very very rarely a blonde, and wanted a non-girlie Barbie, hence the Guerilla look The gun was a freebie I got while dancing at silver rose (you get given loads of jewellry and bits and pieces as you dance away) The sunglasses, cigarette and smoke rings are from the Mafia store. Sadly I can’t wear the hat and the cigarette at the same time unless I attach to a different point and fart about for ages with it.

Rant no2 Bloodlines

I was playing bloodlines, from May 2008 till today, it was fun while it lasted but over the last month or so it was getting beyond ridiculous.

The way I would play the game was either to RP a bite, taking my time over it, or if desperate times came, go to a newbie sex sim and grab a couple there… bad I know but the reputation for bloodlines players was in the toilet, people biting unsolicted in shops/clubs constantly.

The final straw really is the drama, the infighting and the changes to the system a few weeks ago.  Fighting over clans, leadership, souls, leiges and minions was getting worse and worse.

So, today I sold my casks, my souls, and actually made a profit overall from bloodines of about £3KL – yay for me!

New hair…..

Yeah I know, I’m a total hair whore (oh and a skin whore, clothes whore, and shoe whore)… but I bought this yesterday and had to show off, Gritty Kitties it is, and its amazing, you click on the pig tails to change the colour of the highlights, and click the bandana to change its colour or pattern!

It’s my new favourite, and as its new, probably  not many people are wearing it….yet.

I’m also wearing my favourite skirt ever, the belt (clothing layer) has had lots of postive comments from people who have seen me wearing it, it comes in blue or brown.

The coat was an impulse buy, after searching for a non black or brown trench coat, and the boots are from J’s – but they are non-mod (didn’t even think to check before I got them)

Cool leather

I was searching for a short hair a little while ago, bought a couple, but this one from ETD is my favourite (so far…..), its shiny, sexy and still very feminine.

I wanted to get a leather jacket, and not a long, long one (already have those) but a more realistic cafe style biker jacket, found this one at muism, and i kind of love it, kind of hate it – the prim back of it looks fantastic, moves great but as with all prim bits goes through my body when im in certain stands/sits.

Rant no1…..People who think they are qualified to tell me what I am!

ok, I hang around a lot in the BDSM Forum, it’s great, even if you are non involved in the lifestyle there are lots of friendly people, we have laughs, jokes, talk about politics, food, religion, tv, movies and cultural difference (that I have cultcha and they don’t innit)

On the whole, this place is great, non-judemental and open to all, although there are occaisonally the odd person who is either rude or clueless.  There are other places on the grid that are not so good – the amount of times I have been in places like House of V, Bondage Ranch or Bound and Determind and been told by a ‘Master’ that I am not a submissive, that I ‘need’ this, ‘need’ that – how dare they? they do not know me! they haven’t even had a 2 minute conversation with me!

It makes me so mad, that these men or women, strutting around with a Master or Mistress tag above their head entitles them to criticise other people around them, anyone can make a tag.

What I normally tell them is that I don’t like self proclaimed Masters, I already have a Dom, that I’m very happy with, and that there are as many variations in D/s and BDSM as there are leaves on a tree.

What worries me most about these people is that if they come into contact with people who have no experience, they will teach them bad habits, and possibly hurt them.
